Firestone Industrial Products Expands Dyersburg, Tennessee, Operations
04/18/2024
The investment will include the construction of a new facility at the company's Firestone Airide site.
“With its strategic location and increased capability, the new distribution center will enable us to shorten time-to-market to meet customer demands while further optimizing our operations. We have a vital role to play in the transformation of mobility created by advanced electric vehicles and supporting technologies, such as our Firestone air springs,” Firestone Airide President Justin Monaghan said.
Firestone Industrial Products, a Bridgestone Americas company, designs and manufactures air springs and related products to eliminate vibration across the automotive, heavy-duty and off-highway segments.
“Bridgestone’s statewide presence is one of the reasons why manufacturing thrives in Tennessee. I thank our partners at Bridgestone and Firestone Airide for their continued investment in Dyersburg and look forward to seeing the regional impact of this project,” TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter noted.
