05/10/2023
The investment will include 10,000-square-feet of new office space to accommodate additional IT and software personnel.
“As a federal contractor, Dev Technology has selected to continue its growth in Fairfax County due to the proximity of clients and access to highly skilled employees, including veterans,” said Kendall Holbrook, CEO of Dev Technology. “In addition, Northern Virginia is a diverse and inclusive community that allows us to attract and retain people of all backgrounds, which ultimately makes our company stronger and more resilient.”
The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) worked with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority to secure the project for Virginia and will support Dev Technology’s job creation through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), which provides consultative services and funding to companies creating new jobs in order to support employee recruitment and training activities.
“When an award-winning technology firm reinvests in the Commonwealth, it sends a clear message that Virginia is a premier location for this competitive industry,” noted Secretary of Commerce and Trade Caren Merrick. “Dev Technology Group’s decision to increase its footprint in Fairfax County is a win for the region and the Commonwealth, and we are pleased that the Virginia Jobs Investment Program can support the company’s employee recruitment and training.”
Dev Technology Group designs mission-driven IT solutions for the government to meet its needs through full-stack development, no-code/ low-code solutions, and specialized services across data, biometrics, and artificial intelligence.
