06/19/2017
The facility is one of the company's major manufacturing locations in the United States and produces engine control units, sensors for automotive applications and blind spot detection safety systems. The company plans to hire 100 associates in manufacturing, logistics and engineering.
"In Seguin, Continental is producing benchmark products for the automotive industry and we continue to grow. As a result, we are looking for talented individuals to further strengthen our team. Continental is a globally recognized technology company and employer of choice that puts emphasis on employee initiatives with a set of strong corporate values," said Scott Williams, Seguin Plant Manager. "After major investments into the plant over the past five years, we are prepared to shape the future of mobility with our products."
In 2012, Continental announced investments of more than $113 million into its facility in Seguin, spanning over five years and resulting in the creation of additional jobs. After facility upgrades, technological advancements and the addition of sensor production, the facility will continue to bring jobs to the community and high quality products into the market.
