Pine Gate Renewables Plans $7.5 Million Solar Farm In Dillon County, South Carolina

Pine Gate Renewables, a renewable energy company and solar developer, is launching a new solar farm under Freedom Solar LLC in Dillon County, South Carolina.

Located at 2605 State Highway 9, the new seven-megawatt (MW) utility-scale solar farm should be operational by the fourth quarter of 2017 and bring $7.5 million in new capital investment to the area.The facility will be capable of providing power to 1,500 homes.

We look forward to completing this project and continuing to expand the impact of utility-scale solar energy in the state,” said Pine Gate Renewables President Zoe Hanes.
