CMI Enterprises Moves Production to Rutherfordton, North Carolina
07/19/2010
"CMI is looking forward to becoming a valued member of the Rutherford County community," said Michael Novick, company CEO. "As we began searching for a location for our new southeastern facility, it became apparent that North Carolina, with its long textile heritage, and Rutherford County in particular, was the clear choice for us to carry out our plans to expand domestic manufacturing and help bring jobs back to the U.S."
The company will move its Miami, Florida operations to the Rutherfordton site. The company also has a manufacturing plant in Indiana, and will retain its company headquarters in Miami. CMI make soft-trims for the auto, bus, truck, RV, and commercial sectors.
