Inclusion Technologies To Establish Headquarters And Manufacturing Facility In Atchison, Kansas
08/25/2014
Beginning in late summer 2014, the startup company will produce food ingredient products for the industrial market, including a line of nut-free ingredients and other customized products. Inclusion plans to hire 17 employees in Atchison during the next five years and continue capital investment in the facility.
“We are excited to locate our headquarters in Atchison and acquire the unique and proprietary assets of the former Anacon Foods Company, which we will modernize and reposition under our ownership and direction,” said Christopher Jansen, President of Inclusion Technologies. “The plant, processes and diverse product technologies offer our business a very strong platform to build a larger, more diversified inclusion business upon.”
“Inclusion Technologies investment in the Anacon Foods manufacturing facility is another sign of the strength of Kansas' food processing industry,” Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said. “As this industry continues its rapid development in our state, companies such as Inclusion are contributing to our robust economic growth through job creation and capital investment.”
“We have enjoyed working with the Inclusion Technologies team, and we are thrilled with the company’s decision to locate in Atchison and the addition of jobs to our community,” said Stefanie Leif, Community Development director for the city of Atchison.
