Parnell Expands Animal Healthcare Headquarters In Overland Park, Kansas
08/26/2014
“Parnell is very excited to be able to continue its expansion in Kansas with the addition of 32 new jobs and an enlarged facility for our global headquarters,” said Robert Joseph, President/CEO of Parnell. “Our new team members will support our future companion animal product launches and the continued growth of our reproductive hormone portfolio. The support from the Kansas Department of Commerce is testament to the commercial opportunities in the Animal Health Corridor.”
The company, which located its global headquarters in Overland Park in 2012, plans to increase its number of employees in the U.S. to 95 during the next year. The company is investing heavily in the development of digital technology for animal owners and veterinarians and has seven new drugs in development.
“As a key part of the Animal Health Corridor, Kansas has emerged as a leader in the biosciences,” Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said. “Parnell’s decision to expand its headquarters and invest in Overland Park is great news for this growing, important sector of our economy.”
