Ampirical Solutions Expands Electrical Transmission-Distribution In St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana

Ampirical Solutions will create 50 new direct jobs to expand its electrical transmission infrastructure and distribution firm in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Based in Mandeville, Louisiana, the company specializes in the design of substations, relay switchyards, protective relays and controls, transmission lines, distribution lines and related operations.

“Our desire is to demonstrate the ability of highly technical companies to grow and flourish in this state,” President Matthew Saacks said. “Accelerated hiring is critical for Ampirical to compete for the talent it needs to continue its success in executing projects. Ampirical offers prime careers for engineering professionals and related jobs, such as project managers, designers and drafters. Furthermore, Louisiana has strong numbers of both experienced talent and college graduates to staff our growing workforce.”

“This homegrown company is bringing dozens of technical, high-paying jobs to Mandeville and the region with this expansion,” Governor John Bel Edwards said. “Ampirical Solutions identified a market niche a decade ago and has grown to become an industry leader in designing electrical infrastructure for utilities and governments. This project demonstrates the value of Louisiana’s ongoing efforts to provide a skilled and ready workforce for business and industry.”

Louisiana Economic Development began discussions with Ampirical about the potential expansion project in May 2016. The company plans to utilize the workforce solutions of LED FastStart.
