AAR Expands Wellington, Kansas, Aviation Components Operations

The investment will include an additional 100,000-square-feet at the company’s existing components facility.
“We are excited to strengthen our operations and contribute to the local economy by increasing our workforce,” AAR General Manager of Component Services – Wellington Ben Murrell said. “This growth will enhance our ability to service our global customers and meet the demand for an even larger aviation presence in Kansas.”
AAR CORP. provides aviation services such as maintenance, repair and operations (MRO), original equipment manufacturer (OEM), and other supply chain and distribution solutions to commercial and government customers.
“AAR CORP. is a well-established company and a top competitor in aviation with a worldwide market,” noted Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland. “Their expansion not only will bring new jobs to south-central Kansas but will further strengthen our powerful aviation ecosystem, which benefits the entire state.”
