Italy-Based Microtex Composites Plans Chattanooga, Tennessee, Manufacturing Operations

Italy-based Microtex Composites, Inc., a company specializing in textile production, plans to establish operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The approximately $3.8 million project is expected to create 26 jobs in Hamilton County.

Microtex Composites, part of Becagli group, produces products used in structural and aesthetic composites and carbon-look interiors for the motorsports, automotive, marine and other sectors.

I believe Chattanooga’s proximity to water, interstate and rail make it the ideal location for this company as they enter the U.S. market,” noted TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.
