JW Nutritional Opens Manufacturing Plant In Plano, Texas
11/23/2016
With its initial opening, JW Nutritional's Plano facility is poised to thrive as a premium protein blend manufacturing center, company officials said. The Plano facility encompasses 65,000 square feet to provide full service protein blend manufacturing, protein packaging and private labeling. As a Good Manufacturing Practice certificate recipient, JW Nutritional can ensure clients the highest quality product possible.
Company officials explained, Good Manufacturing Practice certification from NSF International is not necessary for nutritional supplement providers. However, GNC recently announced that products produced outside of GMP inspected facilities will no longer be accepted at the start of 2017. Supplement industry leaders interested in transferring their production to GMP certified facilities can benefit from the services that JW Nutritional offers, company officials said.
Since 2004, JW Nutritional has offered turnkey product development with formula R&D, ingredient-sourcing, packaging, label design, and fulfillment. With the addition of their new facility JW Nutritional now operates from a combined 130,000 square feet of space. Currently, the Plano facility employs around 30 individuals, but will continue to grow with increased business.
