Commercial Filter Relocating to Expanded Operations Center in Piperton, Tennessee
11/24/2020
Currently located in Memphis, the company plans to construct a new 125,000-square-foot facility designed specifically to accommodate the production line and warehouse needs now and for the foreseeable future. Commercial Filter broke ground on the new location in October 2020 and expects to complete the project in Q4 of 2021.
“We appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the officials of Piperton, Fayette County and the State of Tennessee. This move has been many years in the making, and we are proud to bring another state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to the area. We look forward to becoming a responsible member of the corporate community and a desirable place for its citizens to work,” Lynn Stage, CEO, Commercial Filter said.
“The expertise of our workforce, central location and robust infrastructure make Tennessee an ideal location for companies to grow and succeed. As we continue to navigate through the pandemic, we are proud to see companies move forward, invest and create jobs in our state. We congratulate Commercial Filter on this announcement and wish the company many years of success in the future,” said Bob Rolfe, Commissioner of TNECD.
Commercial Filter has operated out of Memphis for the past 30 years. The company is expanding due to an increase in demand by the nonresidential construction industry for heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) products.
“We’re proud to have Commercial Filter invest and grow in West Tennessee. Their latest investment in the Volunteer State is a testament to our skilled workforce and central location. I congratulate the company on its expansion, and I am grateful for their partnership as they establish operations in Fayette County,” said Governor Bill Lee.
