Franke Foodservice Systems Expands Lincoln County, Tennessee, Operations

02/26/2021
Franke Foodservice Systems, which specializes in the design and manufacture of foodservice equipment to equip major restaurant chains, will expand its operations in Lincoln County, Tennessee. The project is expected to create at least 56 jobs.

According to state officials, Franke is in the midst of a $1.3 million investment to expand and make building improvements to its operations in Fayetteville, including the addition of woodworking capability to its core stainless-steel fabrication activities.

“We are excited at the opportunity to add new capabilities and personnel to Fayetteville to be able to handle additional product lines for our growing customer base. With the help of Tennessee resources, we are able to hire and train the kind of productive workers that keep our growth engine running and make us competitive in a demanding marketplace,” said Christian Mathesius, CEO, Franke Foodservice Systems, Smyrna, Tennessee.

Over the last five years, TNECD has supported nearly 10 economic development projects in Lincoln County, resulting in 900 job commitments and $165 million in capital investment.

“We congratulate Franke on its fourth expansion at its Fayetteville location. This project is proof that we’ve created an environment where global companies, when faced with the decision of where to expand, choose to do so at their Tennessee operations. Franke provides quality solutions for the foodservice industry, and we’re proud to be a place where manufacturing companies are guaranteed to find a highly-skilled workforce,” said TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe.
