04/29/2024
The new assembly facility will be located on Ford Motor Company’s BlueOval City Supplier Park and will position the company in closer proximity to its key automotive customers across the Southeast.
“We’re thrilled to join Ford’s BlueOval City campus as we make a lasting commitment to Tennessee. We look forward to creating amazing development opportunities with the exceptional people of Haywood County. In partnership with Ford, we’re poised to forge relationships and build a better future for team members, families and friends alike. By linking arms, we’ll create a community committed to a brighter, more sustainable future as we drive progress and prosperity every step of the way,” Kathryn Nichols, CEO, Avancez said.
Avancez assembles power train, chassis, and tire and wheel modules, all in vehicle sequence and just-in-time to our customers’ build broadcasts. The company provides integrated ordering, containerization, and logistics services.
“Landing Ford Motor Company created a ripple effect statewide as we continue to see tier 1 suppliers like Avancez choosing to locate in Tennessee. This company is bringing 501 new jobs to one of our state’s most rural regions, and I thank all our partners that came together to bring this project to reality,” noted TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.
