Brewco Marketing Group Expands Central City, Kentucky, Operations
06/28/2024
The investment will allow the company to increase production of mobile marketing vehicles.
“I'm incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish here at Brewco Marketing Group,” said Brewco President Shane Kennedy. “Through the relentless efforts of our dedicated team, we’ve established partnerships with some of the world's most trusted brands, including Swedish Match, McDonald’s, LG, Kohler, IBM and many more. It’s truly a special place.”
To encourage investment and job growth in the community, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved a 15-year incentive agreement with the company under the Kentucky Business Investment program. The performance-based agreement can provide up to $300,000 in tax incentives based on the company’s investment of over $1.26 million and annual targets of: creation and maintenance of 18 Kentucky-resident, full-time jobs across 15 years; and paying an average hourly wage of $22 including benefits across those jobs.
By meeting its annual targets over the agreement term, the company can be eligible to keep a portion of the new tax revenue it generates. The company may claim eligible incentives against its income tax liability and/or wage assessments.
“Congratulations to Brewco Marketing Group and everyone in Muhlenberg County on the continued growth of this incredible Kentucky-based company,” Governor Andy Beshear noted. “Brewco has grown to become a national leader in mobile marketing. I want to thank the leaders at Brewco for once again investing in Kentucky and creating quality job opportunities for our residents.”
In addition, the company can receive resources from Kentucky’s workforce service providers. Those include no-cost recruitment and job placement services, reduced-cost customized training and job-training incentives.
“Brewco Marketing Group is a shining star in its industry, and we are grateful they are in Muhlenberg County. This incentive is well deserved,” added Ray Hagerman, executive director of Muhlenberg Economic Growth Alliance.
Brewco creates unique and memorable brand experiences through customized marketing campaigns. The company’s designs and manufactures custom mobile solutions that tour the U.S., Canada and throughout Europe, including SUVs, sprinter vans, buses, containers and expandable trailers. Brewco currently operates facilities in Kentucky, North Carolina, Texas and Tennessee, as well as London, England.
