CNTNR Expands Operations in Welland, Ontario
07/20/2020
CNTNR will initially utilize 125,000 square feet of the plant, and expand to another 110,000 square feet in about nine months.
“We anticipate hiring another 100 workers over the next two years,” CNTNR quoted its Modular Building Solutions chief executive officer Adam Morris speaking to the Welland Tribune. The company said it is looking to expand into the eastern portion of Canada, as well as the U.S. northeast.
Morris told reporters the company chose Welland because of its affordable industrial lease rates, proximity to the U.S. border, 26 miles from Buffalo, New York, nearby highway access, skilled workers with manufacturing experience, and nearby Universities.
