Lineage Logistics Holdings Plans Grantsville, Utah, Facility

Lineage Logistics Holdings, a warehousing and logistics company, will establish a logistics facility in Grantsville, Utah. The $125 million project is expected to create 96 jobs.

Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity awarded the company marginal tax reduction for its expansion in rural Utah, during the next five years . The post-performance corporate incentive is part of the Legislature’s Economic Development Tax Increment Financing program.

Lineage may receive up to 25% of the additional state taxes it will pay over the five-year life of the agreement in the form of a Utah Legislature-authorized Rural Economic Development Tax Increment Financing (REDTIF) tax credit. Each year that Lineage meets the criteria in its contract with the state, it will qualify for a portion of the total tax credit.

The company is a premier leader in temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics, playing a role in much of the food we eat every day,” added Dan Hemmert, the Office of Economic Opportunity’s executive director. “Along with being a key component to the food supply chain, the company has also demonstrated its charitable efforts. For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lineage donated 115 million meals to people in need. The company also is committed to energy efficiency and expanding its use of solar power in its facilities.”
