Buffalo Rock Company Plans Loxley, Alabama, Distribution Operations

05/07/2026
Beverage distributor and bottler Buffalo Rock Company plans to establish a new distribution facility in Loxley, Alabama. The $10 million project will relocate approximately 100 jobs to Baldwin County.

The investment will include the construction of a new 25,000-square-foot facility, located on a 10-acre site, which will feature 10,000 square feet of office space, 15,000 square feet of warehouse space, and eight loading docks.

“This facility strengthens our ability to deliver legendary service to our customers every day,” said Wayne Wisdom, Senior Vice President and Chief Business Operations Officer of Buffalo Rock. “We selected Loxley for its established industrial corridor, accessibility, and long-term strategic advantages. We’re excited to become part of this community and create opportunities that benefit our employees, customers, and the region.”

Buffalo Rock serves retail and foodservice customers across the southeastern U.S., distributing soft drinks, bottled water, energy drinks, and other beverages. The company’s operations include bottling, warehousing, logistics, and sales support for beverage brands.

“Buffalo Rock’s decision to invest in Loxley speaks volumes about the strength of Baldwin County as a logistics and distribution hub,” noted Lee Lawson, President and CEO of Baldwin Alliance. “This project brings competitive wages, long-term growth potential, and reinforces the strategic advantages our region offers.”
