Church & Dwight Expands Old Fort, Ohio, Prodcution Operations

Church & Dwight Co., a producer of sodium bicarbonate, popularly known as baking soda, producing the popular Arm & Hammer brand, plans to expand its operations in Old Fort, Ohio. The $28 million project is expected to create 40 jobs.

The investment will include an additional production line for the company's unit dose detergent power packs.

“The Old Fort plant has successfully delivered on multiple product line expansions in the past for the company as we’ve continued to produce high-quality products safely and efficiently,” said David Johnston, Church & Dwight Plant Manager.

To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.304%, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

Nauseef, JobsOhio President and CEO.
