Spray Products Corporation Expands Medina, Ohio, Operations

Aerosol and liquid consumer products manufacturer Spray Products Corporation plans to expand its operations in Medina, Ohio. The approximately $7 million project is expected to create 32 jobs.

The investment will include a new production line and renovations to the company's existing 270,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility.

“As a third-generation family-owned manufacturer, we take a long-term view of our relationships with customers and employees,” said Spray Products Executive Vice President Peter Bastian. “By investing in new production capabilities and better spaces for our team to work and train, we are strengthening our ability to bring new products to market and deliver the quality and service our customers expect.”

To support the project, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.204 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit.

“Since expanding to Northeast Ohio in 2018, Spray Products has strategically grown the company’s Medina operation,” noted Team NEO CEO Matt Dolan. “The company’s decision to continue to invest here, to add employment here, speaks to the region’s strength as a place to do business.”

JobsOhio, Team NEO, the Ohio Department of Development, the Medina County Economic Development Corporation and the City of Medina partnered to support the project.

“Our longstanding partnership with Spray Products has given us a firsthand appreciation for their commitment to Medina County, from reviving a vacant industrial building in 2018 to adding production lines and far exceeding initial job projections,” added Medina County Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Bethany Dentler. “We’re delighted to help them build on that record as they pursue their next chapter of growth in Northeast Ohio.”

Spray Products Corporation specializes in contract manufacturing of aerosol and liquid consumer products for the automotive, industrial and household markets. The company provides formulation development, blending, filling, packaging, regulatory support and distribution services.
