Apple Plans Houston, Texas, Manufacturing Operations
03/01/2025
The new 250,000-square-foot facility will produce servers that support Apple Intelligence. Operations are scheduled to begin in 2026.
"We are bullish on the future of American innovation, and we're proud to build on our long-standing U.S. investments with this $500 billion commitment to our country's future," said Apple CEO Tim Cook. "From doubling our Advanced Manufacturing Fund, to building advanced technology in Texas, we're thrilled to expand our support for American manufacturing. And we'll keep working with people and companies across this country to help write an extraordinary new chapter in the history of American innovation."
Apple has previously manufactured servers outside the U.S.
“This is a testament to our region’s business-friendly environment, skilled workforce, strategic global positioning, and proven ability to attract world-class companies,” noted Greater Houston Partnership President and CEO Steve Kean. “As U.S. companies continue to onshore their manufacturing operations, we are bullish on Houston’s ability to win big.”
