The investment will allow the regional hospital system to complete its planned phase two expansion at its new location at the Mall of Abilene.
“Our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services to our patients is unwavering, and our partnership with the Development Corporation of Abilene to expand our back office and warehouse operation is another step in this direction,” said Brad Holland, President and CEO of Hendrick Health System. “With the addition of this new location at the Mall of Abilene, we will be better equipped to serve our patients and ensure they have access to the care they need, when they need it."
The project is being supported by a $909,500 incentive package, approved by the Development Corporation of Abilene Board of Directors.
“Our existing businesses are the backbone of our community, and we are proud to partner with Hendrick Health as their operations continue to expand,” said Misty Mayo, President and CEO of the Development Corporation of Abilene. “The DCOA is committed to building long-term partnerships with local existing companies, as growing Abilene’s existing businesses remains one of our top priorities.”
Hendrick Health, located in Abilene, Texas, is a not-for-profit healthcare provider affiliated with the Baptist General Convention of Texas serving a 22-county region in the Texas Midwest.
