Radiant Vision Systems Opens Novi, Michigan Operations
04/18/2019
According to company officials, this location allows Radiant to provide local support to its growing automotive customer base, with direct resources to enable measurement solutions development for displays, lighting, head-up displays, and a range of automated visual inspection applications.
“In order to support the growth of our customers in Michigan and surrounding areas, Radiant must in turn expand our network of resources,” says Radiant Executive Vice President and Chief Solutions Officer Doug Kreysar.
“The decision to open an office location in Novi was a logical next step for Radiant. Evidenced by trends in advanced lighting, display-based HMI, and sensing systems in today’s vehicles, there is a growing need for solutions providers in the world’s automotive centers to facilitate quality goals for light-emitting systems. With the opening of our Novi office, we are now able to offer local customers in automotive and other industries more immediate and personal service,” he said. “Additionally, the Novi facility gives us the opportunity to increase our engineering footprint to continue development across all automated visual inspection applications, including light & color measurement, visual surface inspection, and assembly verification.”
Radiant’s Michigan facility will support local engineering and sales teams, with labs for solutions engineering and customer demonstrations. The Radiant Michigan team will focus on development of its Advanced Vision suite (including software and fixtures for assembly verification, surface inspection, and particle inspection) as well as automotive display and light test systems.
Radiant offices in the U.S.A. include the company’s global headquarters in Redmond, Washington, and a sales and support office in Cupertino, California. with strategic offices in California, Michigan, China, and South Korea. Radiant has been a part of Konica Minolta’s Sensing Business Unit since August 2015.
