This latest expansion is projected to bring at least $10 million of new capital investment and lead to the creation of more than 90 new jobs. Booz Allen Hamilton currently employs more than 550 associates in the Greater Charleston area.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits related to this project.
“Within Digital Solutions, we are integrating emerging technologies, a deep understanding of our clients’ missions and more than 100 years of consulting heritage to drive technology modernization and support user adoption. The SPARC acquisition advances our digital growth strategy by expanding the scale of our services to support our clients’ demand for transformative technology,” Booz Allen Hamilton Executive Vice President & Leader of Digital Solutions, Gary Labovich said.
“Our state has become a premier destination for companies looking to expand or relocate, and the fact that global names like Booz Allen Hamilton continue to find success here is further proof of that. Our great workforce can accomplish anything, and it’s because of their hard work and dedication that South Carolina has earned a place that’s ‘Just right’ for business,” Governor Henry McMaster said.
“Berkeley County is excited to have Booz Allen Hamilton’s continued investment in our corporate family. This is an example of how the county is a recognized player in the digital technology sector and illustrates why Berkeley County is seeing job creation and phenomenal growth. This expansion illustrates what’s on the horizon for Berkeley County and the promising opportunities ahead. It furthers our message that Berkeley County is open for business, and Berkeley County means business,” said Berkeley County Supervisor Bill Peagler.
