Jackson Healthcare Begins $100 Million Expansion In Alpharetta, Georgia
05/05/2017
The company kicked off a 20-month project to enlarge its corporate headquarters at 2655 Northwinds Parkway into an Italian Renaissance campus complete with a piazza that resembles the streets of Italy.
The expansion will encompass 306,000 square feet when finished in December 2018. It will include an eight-story office building of 267,000 square feet and a 39,000 square foot amenities building that will house a state-of-the-art gym, indoor pool and full service restaurant for associates.
"We are blessed with a company of dedicated associates who put others first and want to improve the delivery of patient care," said Shane Jackson, President of Jackson Healthcare. "In return, we are creating facilities that will make coming to work even more enjoyable and benefit their quality of life for years to come."
The Jackson Healthcare development is the largest corporate headquarters expansion on the drawing board for North Fulton. When completed, the campus will encompass 550,000 square feet including the existing, 180,000 square foot headquarters building and another newly-purchased building on campus.
"Jackson Healthcare is a powerhouse job creator for our region," said Brandon Beach, President & CEO of the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. "This project is going to continue to make North Fulton a destination to live and work."
Alpharetta Mayor David Belle Isle agreed that the additional 1,400 new jobs will transform Alpharetta as it becomes its own center of commerce. "These are high quality jobs, and our residents will be grateful to find such desirable jobs so close to home," he said.
