LEV Manufacturing Plans Putnam County, Tennessee, Assembly-Logistics Operations

05/05/2026
Light electric vehicle manufacturer LEV Manufacturing plans to establish operations in Algood, Tennessee. The $7 million project is expected to create 288 jobs in Putnam County.

The investment will include the acquisition of a 100,000-square-foot facility at 2415 Burton Branch Road, which will serve as the company’s primary U.S. assembly, logistics, and fulfillment center, supporting its electric mobility brands, including Rad Power Bikes, Serial 1, and Life EV.

“Establishing our Tennessee facility represents a major milestone for LEV Manufacturing and the broader Life EV Group,” said Robert Provost, CEO of LEV Manufacturing and Life EV Group. “This location will serve as a central hub for distribution and assembly as we invest in U.S.-based manufacturing and long-term growth.”

LEV Manufacturing manufactures light electric vehicles and related components for commercial and consumer use, producing vehicles such as electric bikes and utility vehicles used in logistics, mobility, and industrial applications. The company’s operations include design, assembly, and distribution of electric vehicle products.

“We are proud to welcome LEV Manufacturing to Tennessee,” noted Stuart C. McWhorter, Deputy Governor and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD). “This investment reflects the type of company we want to attract, one that creates jobs and partners with our research institutions.”
