Germany-Based Krones Opens West Coast Hub In Ontario, California

The 2,781-square-foot facility, located at 3491 Concours Street, and will house sales and service personnel from Krones and its subsidiaries, beginning with Trans-Market, LLC.
With North American headquarters in Franklin, Wisconsin, the company is a world leader in the manufacture of fully integrated packaging and bottling line systems as well as integrated brew house and processing systems, IT solutions and warehouse logistics systems.
According to company officials, in addition to Krones’ general focus on customer proximity, the expansion is another step in the implementation of its strategy to build-up local process engineering and sourcing capabilities.
“We have a large, growing customer base in this part of the country,” said B.J. Anderson, Head of Sales, western division for Krones, Inc. “This expansion gives us a collaboration point in a high activity area to be more agile in meeting customer needs.”
The facility will also will house sales and service personnel from Krones and its subsidiaries, beginning with Trans-Market. Trans-Market has also recently expanded its footprint in Texas, opening an office in Houston. The company already has locations in Dallas and San Antonio, as well as its headquarters located in Tampa, Florida.
