Arctic Cat Inc Relocates Headquarters To Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota
08/20/2016
The company now occupies a six-story building formerly known as the Western Container site, at 500 North 3rd Street, Minneapolis. The Arctic Cat brand is among the most widely recognized and respected in the recreational vehicle industry. The company also designs, engineers, manufactures, garments and accessories under the Arctic Cat and Motorfist brand names.
Christopher Metz, Arctic Cat’s President/CEO said, “Our new location enables us to bring our leadership team and critical corporate functions together in one space, to better meet the needs of the business going forward. It also reflects the spirit and ingenuity of Arctic Cat’s iconic brand.”
The renovation of Arctic Cat’s new 55,000-square foot headquarters in a historic warehouse was funded entirely by the building’s owner, according to company officials. Over time, approximately 150 to 200 personnel may work in Arctic Cat’s new corporate office. The company’s core Minnesota manufacturing operations remain unaffected in Thief River Falls and St. Cloud.
