09/02/2014
Turbo Supply distributes new and remanufactured turbochargers for on and off highway applications. With a broad portfolio of brands, the company serves a variety of industries including trucking, passenger vehicles, construction, agriculture and marine equipment.
According to state economic development officials, since its founding in 1997 Turbo Supply has grown to become one of the nation’s largest turbocharger dealers. Headquartered in Joplin, Turbo Supply also operates facilities in Odessa, Texas, Houston, and Pittsburgh. The company’s rapid growth has prompted the need to expand its headquarters.
“We are proud to have Turbo Supply contributing to Missouri’s growing economy with its expansion in Joplin,” said Economic Development Director Mike Downing “Turbo Supply’s reinvestment in its Joplin headquarters is a true testament to the business-friendly environment Missouri has to offer. The state’s strong workforce and low-tax environment continue to create opportunities for growing companies that create jobs and help move our economy forward.”
To assist Turbo Supply with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and investment criteria.
