10/31/2019
“We are very excited to be opening a new facility in Georgia, as our humble initiative and belief in our work has led us to become a global company,” said Cheolhwan Kim, President of Alfrex, LLC. “Our commitment is to hiring talented individuals, and making a positive contribution in the communities where we operate, with a focus on sustainability.”
Alfrex will be the first tenant to sign a lease with the new 985 Lanier Logistics Center in Hall County, occupying 85,000 square feet in the facility. The company joins 50 internationally-owned manufacturing subsidiaries in the area. The facility is set to reach full production in March 2020.
“We are proud to welcome Alfrex to Hall County,” said GDEcD Commissioner Pat Wilson. “Georgia has proven itself to be a leader in attracting international investment to all regions of the state. Alfrex joins a booming manufacturing industry here in Georgia, and I am confident that, with access to our readily-available and skilled workforce, they will thrive as they locate in North Georgia.”
“Alfrex is a welcome addition to our growing business community,” said Richard Higgins, Chairman of the Hall County Commission. “We are excited Alfrex has selected Hall County and Georgia for their North American headquarters, sales and manufacturing, and we are grateful for the partnership formed between the company, the developer, GDEcD and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.”
Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD) Director Yoonie Kim represented the Global Commerce Division in partnership with the Hall County Commission and the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce.
