11/01/2026
Air compressors and tools manufacturer MAT Industries plans to expand its operations in Jackson, Tennessee. The project is expected to create 85 jobs in Madison County.

The expansion will include the addition of a new production line at the company's existing facility.

“We are proud to continue investing in our Jackson operations and the talented workforce that has been instrumental to our success. This expansion reflects the growing demand for our products as well as our long-term commitment to Madison County and the State of Tennessee. Creating 85 additional jobs will strengthen our manufacturing capabilities while providing meaningful career opportunities for local West Tennessee communities. We appreciate the support of our team members, local leaders and state partners as we continue to grow and build for the future,” said MAT Industries Vice President of Operations Robbie Hite.

MAT Industries, a division of MAT Holdings, Inc., is a manufacturer of air compressors, pneumatic tools, and related equipment for consumer, commercial, and industrial markets.

“MAT Industries’ continued growth in Jackson is a clear vote of confidence in Madison County and Tennessee. Building on the company’s 2025 expansion, the decision to add another 85 jobs and a new production line reflects the strength of our manufacturing workforce and business environment. We appreciate MAT Industries for continuing to choose Tennessee and create new opportunities for West Tennesseans,” noted Tennessee Deputy Governor and Department of Economic and Community Development (TNECD) Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.

“TVA and the Jackson Energy Authority congratulate MAT Industries on its plans to expand operations in Madison County. We are proud to partner with the Greater Jackson Chamber, the City of Jackson, Madison County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development in our shared commitment to fostering economic growth in the region and to support companies like MAT Industries in its continued business success,” added TVA Vice President of Economic Development Heidi Smith.
