12/15/2022
The investment will include a new 250,000-square-foot facility and the purchase of an existing 28,000-square-foot building on Harrison Street. The company currently has its corporate headquarters and a facility in Batesville.
“Lifeplus is looking forward to this next chapter in the growth and expansion of our company,” Lifeplus owner Robert Christian said. “We’re excited about the good paying jobs this expansion will create here in our community and about the increased production capability and resulting market share that it will give us both here in the U.S. and worldwide.”
“A diverse economy is a healthy economy,” noted Secretary of Commerce Mike Preston. “Lifeplus has found a unique niche in the nutritional supplement industry which has brought more jobs and investment to Independence County. We want to do everything we can to help our local companies reach their full potential, and we are excited to see what’s in store for Lifeplus in the coming years as they undergo the first phase of their expansion plans.”
