Ecolab Expands Eagan, Minnesota, Operations

Water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions provider Ecolab plans to expand its operations in Eagan, Minnesota.

The more than $500 million project will include approximately 105,000 square feet of additional space at the company’s existing campus, featuring enhanced laboratories, customer experience areas, employee amenities and infrastructure to support research, product development and collaboration.

“For more than a century, Ecolab has called Minnesota home, and this investment represents our confidence in what comes next. We are building the future of infection prevention in Eagan, creating a global destination where the brightest scientific minds can work alongside our customers to accelerate breakthrough innovation that protects people from infection,” said Ecolab Chairman, President and CEO Christophe Beck. “What we develop here will have an impact far beyond Minnesota, helping protect 2 billion people from infections and enough drinking water for 1 billion people."

Ecolab specializes in water treatment, hygiene, infection prevention and related technologies and services. The company provides solutions for healthcare, food and beverage processing, hospitality, manufacturing and other industrial and commercial markets.
