Quality Beverage Expands Lowndes County, Mississippi, Operations

Private-label manufacturer Quality Beverage plans to expand its operations at Golden Triangle Industrial Aerospace Park in Lowndes County, Mississippi. The $10.25 million project is expected to create 31 jobs.

The investment will include a new 50,000-square-foot beverage syrup facility, featuring manufacturing, R&D and distribution operations. Production is scheduled for January 2025.

Columbus and Lowndes County have always been home, and with the LINK’s assistance, we were able to identify a site where our new operations will deliver significant additional manufacturing capacity for our customer partners and, most importantly, a best-in-class facility for our dedicated, hard-working employees” Quality Beverage President Brad Earwood said.

The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is providing assistance through the Mississippi Flexible Tax Incentive, or MFLEX. The Golden Triangle Development LINK and the Lowndes County Industrial Development Authority also have worked with the company to develop this expansion project.

This expansion is a sterling example of an existing Mississippi company finding the formula needed for continued growth and success right here at home,” MDA Deputy Executive Director Laura Hipp noted.

Quality Beverage is a private-label manufacturer of dispensed beverage concentrates, syrups and sweeteners for the food and beverage industry.
