Sartori Company Expands Plymouth, Wisconsin, Production Operations

11/02/2026
Cheese manufacturer Sartori Company plans to expand its operations in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The $47 million project is expected to create up to 27 jobs.

The investment will include an additional 68,000 square feet at the company’s existing converting facility, featuring five new production lines.

“Our business has experienced significant growth over the past decade,” said Sartori Company CEO Bert Sartori. “This 68,000-square-foot expansion of our converting facility will increase capacity and create opportunities for innovation as we continue sharing great cheese with customers and consumers around the world. Wisconsin has an incredible dairy heritage, and we’re fortunate that our milk comes from local Wisconsin family farms. With this support, we’re proud to continue investing in Plymouth and building for the future. This expansion will support demand for top-quality local milk, create 27 new jobs, and strengthen the communities that have supported Sartori for generations.”

To support the project, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) authorized up to $450,000 in state income tax credits over three years. The actual amount awarded will depend on the company's job creation and capital investment during that period.

“Wisconsin cheese is recognized internationally for its excellence, and Sartori cheese consistently ranks among the best in the world,” noted WEDC Secretary and CEO John W. Miller. “Sartori Company’s continued investment in the state is a testament to Wisconsin’s agricultural tradition and commitment to dairy. We are proud to support Sartori as they begin this next chapter of their growth.”

Sartori Company is a dairy products manufacturer specializing in specialty and artisan cheeses for retail and foodservice markets.
