ALDI Expands Corporate Operations in Dublin, Ohio
12/09/2020
The company currently employs 45 full-time staff at its corporate facility in Dublin. Hiring for national real estate services, real estate analytics, goods not for resale, facilities systems and sustainability positions will begin in Q1 2021.
“As demand for ALDI’s products grows throughout North America, its real estate strategy is being driven from the Columbus Region,” said JobsOhio President and CEO J.P. Nauseef. “This expansion brings 30 jobs to the Dublin corporate facility that will play an essential role in advancing ALDI’s approach to growth and efficiencies.”
The ALDI National Real Estate Services office opened four years ago and is primarily responsible for the company’s domestic real estate strategy for new markets as well as its existing store network. ALDI is experiencing growing demand for its products across the U.S., including Ohio, so expanding its workforce in the Columbus Region will assist with increased logistical planning.
“ALDI is a leader in the grocery industry, and we are thrilled to see such an innovative, high-growth company expand its presence in Dublin,” said City of Dublin Director of Economic Development Colleen Gilger. “The company’s decision to increase its headcount by nearly 70% is not only proof of the Columbus Region’s strong retail and back-office sectors, but also our ability to support high-growth companies that are expanding their national reach.”
