Canada-Based Hart Print Establishes Elkton, Maryland, Production Operations
03/01/2024
The new facility, located at 402 Belle Hill Road in Elkton, will increase the company’s annual printing capabilities by at least 100 million cans, or 66 percent of its current capacity.
“We’re combining our new state-of-the-art facility with AMP’s pasteurization-ready cans, the best for digital printing,” said JP Paradis, Hart Print co-founder and co-CEO. “No other printer in our market is even close to offering services of this quality.”
The project is being supported by the More Jobs for Marylanders program and Job Creation Tax Credit, both administered by the Maryland Department of Commerce.
“This expansion unlocks easy access to cans for the massive number of beverage providers in the Northeast of the U.S.,” noted Hart Print co-founder and co-CEO Stephanie Hart. “We’re proud to bring our customizable service closer to our East Coast customers to help bring down shipping costs.”
Ardagh Metal Packaging is a global supplier of recyclable, sustainable, metal beverage cans and ends to brand owners. A subsidiary of Ardagh Group, AMP operates 23 production facilities in nine countries.
