According to the firm, its 100,000+ square foot warehouse and office complex will bring all warehousing, product development, customer services, marketing and corporate headquarter functions into a single location.
Delta plans to have all operations in the new location in the second quarter of 2016. The company expects to bring 50 jobs to the North Spartanburg area.
"Opening our own, company-owned U.S. headquarters shows our commitment to the woodworking machinery marketplace," said Kevin Chang, President of Delta. "Putting down roots and building our foundation here in Spartanburg will help us attract the best talent as we continue to grow the Delta business."
Delta is a fully-owned US subsidiary of ChangType Industrial Company. The DELTA brand dates back to 1919, and is known for its iconic UNISAW table saw, the BEISEMEYER rip fence and other high quality power equipment for professional and serious amateur woodworkers.
