Commercetools Opens U.S. Headquarters In New York City
05/11/2015
The commercetools office will be responsible for driving adoption in the United States by providing business-to-business and creative business-to-consumer retailers an affordable, easy-to-deploy, scalable, cloud commerce solution.
"The opening of our United States office is a key outcome of commercetools' success and growth in Europe," said Dirk Hoerig, CEO at commercetools. "Having a physical presence in the United States furthers our commitment to quality for our customers and partners by providing them with a dedicated sales and developer team that works closely to help build their omnichannel commerce experiences."
"Today's retailers are burdened by bloated, hard-to-implement and costly legacy ecommerce platforms," said Arthur Lawida, General Manager of commercetools U.S. "commercetools is disrupting the way commerce platforms are licensed and implemented by providing SPHERE.IO—a cloud-based enterprise ecommerce platform with a proven ability to service both large and small customer needs across any channel. Our goal is to significantly reduce the cost of acquiring and building sophisticated omnichannel commerce solutions while giving our customers more options than they have ever had from legacy systems."
