Lieber Institute Newest Tenant at Johns Hopkins Bio Site
05/27/2010
"The expectation is this will be the permanent location for the Lieber Institute," said Scott Levitan, senior vice president for Forest City, the site developer.
The Institute trumped the University of Pennsylvania, Yale, and Columbia for the space. It will research schizophrenia and partner with the Bethesda, Maryland-based National Institutes of Health and National Institute of Mental Health.
The Institute's move puts the complex's occupancy at nearly 80 percent of capacity. The developer will extend $2 million to the Institute for its build-out.
