Randox Laboratories Expands Jefferson County, West Virginia, Operations Center
01/05/2015
The expansion to the existing medical laboratory, which opened in Jefferson County's Burr Business Park in 2010, is scheduled to begin in 2015 first quarter and will take four months to complete. The renovated facility will include a manufacturing component, a research and development lab, and a diagnostic lab.
The expansion has been two years in the making in partnership with the West Virginia Development Office, which this month approved two loans to Randox to aid in the expansion, the Jefferson County Development Authority said.
"These are exactly the kinds of jobs we want in Jefferson County," said John Reisenweber, Executive Director of the JCDA. "Randox is a leader in its field of medical technology and related products and has a successful track record in Ireland. The JCDA has assembled an impressive team here in the county to assist them with the expansion."
