Along with distribution services, the new center, opening in May, will house the company’s telemarketing and customer service operations. The $300,000 investment will also include purchasing of new equipment and employee training. New positions will include management, customer service, office support, packaging and receiving. Hiring will begin in February 2015.
“This is an exciting time for Benchmark Education Company, and we couldn’t have identified a better location to facilitate our growth,” said Tom Reycraft, President/CEO, Benchmark Education Company. “The Columbus Region’s strategic location was a big draw, as was the area’s available workforce. We’re looking forward to tapping into the talent pool when hiring begins.”
“Groveport’s location, near key infrastructure and easily accessible to other major markets, has helped attract companies that are seeking a logistical advantage,” said Lance Westcamp, Mayor of Groveport. “We’re pleased that Benchmark Education Company is bringing its operations and a significant number of jobs to Groveport.”
