12/09/2014
According to the firm, “this is the fourth microbiology laboratory development this year in North America for the global food testing leader. With continued growth and expansion planned for the US market, Eurofins aims to strengthen its network by investing in the most modern equipment and by providing the highest level of testing technology in the industry.”
Eurofins has a comprehensive portfolio for microbiology testing, including FDA detention testing. The laboratory has set in place several FDA testing suites that include detection for: melamine, drug residues, pesticides, filth and pathogens. The addition of the Garden Grove laboratory aligns with Eurofins' strategy to provide clients with the necessary testing for importing and exporting their products close to vital US commercial ports including those in Southern California.
"We are excited to expand our Eurofins Food Microbiology testing services to Southern California to provide our existing and future local clients with exceptional quality and quicker turnaround time," said Marc Scantlin, President of the Eurofins US Microbiology Division. "Our Garden Grove laboratory will provide seamless logistics for local clients who require both microbiology testing and chemistry services provided by our centers of excellence in the US and worldwide."
In addition to Eurofins' excellence in testing, the company has become an innovator in logistics, utilizing advanced courier systems to create a streamlined sample pick up service for their clients, company officials added.
