Tindall Corporation Expands Production in Spartanburg, South Carolina
04/23/2020
Located at 2877 Fairforest Clevedale Road in Spartanburg, Tindall Corporation will construct its state-of-the-art Utility Division manufacturing facility to increase production capacity and expand product offerings. Precast concrete made at the new facility will be shipped throughout the Southeast and beyond, accommodating a wide range of construction needs. The company’s expansion is expected to be completed in early 2021.
The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has awarded Spartanburg County a $100,000 Set-Aside grant as an incentive for costs related to the project.
“The Tindall team is proud to call Spartanburg home. As we have provided infrastructure products for so much of the industrial and residential growth in our region, we are excited to now add our name to the list of manufacturing operations that build and grow new opportunities here in Spartanburg,” said Tindall Corporation Vice President & General Manager Joel Sheets.
“Now more than ever we are working hard to take care of the companies that call South Carolina home, and the people they employ. Tindall Corporation is a great South Carolina company that we are proud of, and we congratulate them on their investment that will bring more jobs to the Upstate,” Governor Henry McMaster said.
“Tindall Corporation has been a longtime partner in South Carolina’s business community, and we are thrilled to see this homegrown company’s footprint continue to grow. Congratulations to Tindall Corporation on this latest expansion, and we look forward to their continued success for many years to come,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt said.
“Expansions of existing industries in Spartanburg County are an indication of healthy economic development conditions. Tindall Corporation has been a solid corporate partner in Spartanburg, providing great jobs and excellent products for over five decades. This expansion will allow for increased production capacity, market diversification and new automation solutions.” Spartanburg County Council Chairman A. Manning Lynch Jr. said.
