Reworld Plans Park Hills, Missouri, Material Processing Operations
05/16/2025
The investment will include a renovation of a 150,000-square-foot facility which will process non-hazardous waste streams and recovered materials.
“Our facility in Park Hills will demonstrate how innovative waste solutions can create both environmental value and economic opportunity,” said Amir Hafzalla, President, South Region at Reworld. “Park Hills is a strategic location that allows us to better serve our partners. We’re proud to bring new jobs to the region and become part of the community.”
To support the project Reworld will benefit from the Missouri Works program, a tool that helps companies expand and retain workers by providing access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation.
“The new Reworld facility in Park Hills is a great example of business growth,” noted Michelle Hataway, Director of the Department of Economic Development. “We congratulate Reworld™ and look forward to its continued success.”
Reworld noted it specializes in converting waste into valuable resources through advanced technologies that enable the reduction, efficient reuse, recycling, and recovery of diverse waste streams. Through ReKiln Fuels, an innovative alternative engineered fuel solution, the company produces fully customized, low-carbon fuels from industrial byproducts and post-consumer recycled materials that are ideal for cement and lime kilns, powerplants, and paper mills.
