Sunshine Aviation Expands Operations At Grenada, Mississippi, Municipal Airport
05/04/2016
“We are looking forward to expanding our company in Grenada and we appreciate the support we have received from the city, the state of Mississippi and the local economic development organization in creating this opportunity,” said Sunshine Aviation President Jim Lamberth.
Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project for the construction of the hangar. In addition, the city of Grenada and the Mississippi Department of Transportation provided assistance as well.
“Sunshine Aviation’s growth is a prime example of how small businesses play an integral role in accelerating Mississippi’s economy by creating these new career opportunities,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “We appreciate our economic development partners at the city of Grenada, MDOT and the Grenada Economic Development District for their teamwork, which along with MDA, is helping Sunshine Aviation expand.”
“When Mississippi’s existing businesses choose to grow their operations, it serves as a testament to our strong business climate and productive workforce. I wish Sunshine Aviation many years of success in Grenada,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
