CRP Automotive Plans Pittsfield, Michigan, Operations

06/15/2026
Automotive parts manufacturer CRP Automotive plans to establish operations in Pittsfield Township, Michigan. The $4.05 million project is expected to create nearly 30 jobs.

The company’s new production facility will be designed to support growing demand for advanced remanufactured automotive service parts.

“Opening this new facility is a testament to our commitment to meeting the growing need for remanufacturing of complex mechatronics,” said Dan Schildge, CEO of CRP Industries. “We chose Ann Arbor, Michigan because of its strategic location, talented workforce and supportive business community. This facility not only scales our engineering and production capabilities but also brings job opportunities to the area.”

To support the project, the Michigan Strategic Fund awarded the company a $100,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.

“CRP Automotive's expansion in Pittsfield Township is an exciting investment in Washtenaw County, bringing new jobs and advancing innovation in automotive remanufacturing,” noted Jennifer Olmstead, Vice President of Business Development at Ann Arbor SPARK. “Ann Arbor SPARK is proud to support the company's continued growth in our region.” CRP Automotive is a manufacturer and distributor of automotive replacement parts, technical fluids, and related components. The company serves the automotive aftermarket through engineering, remanufacturing, and distribution operations.
