07/15/2024
The investment will allow the company to manufacture H65 and H84 generators, which require advanced processes to manufacture the generators’ stator bars and stator core system and accompany its gas turbines.
“This investment will help us deliver for our global customers and allow us to expand our highly skilled workforce in the Capital District,” said CEO Scott Strazik. “We are committed to growing our best-in-class facility in Schenectady, and this is another strong step in that direction. This region is the foundation on which GE Vernova is built. We have amazing talent here and we plan to continue to cultivate and invest in them.”
GE Vernova Inc is an energy equipment manufacturing and services company. The company was formed from the merger and subsequent spin-off of General Electric's energy businesses in 2024: GE Power, GE Renewable Energy, and GE Digital.
