Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems to Build Second Facility in Danville, KY

The new 156,000 sq.-ft. operation--a result of consolidation from an out-of-state facility--will perform final assembly and worldwide distribution of aircraft wheels, brakes and components. The project will create 63 new jobs and nearly $7.3 million in investment.
Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems is one of the world's leading aircraft wheels and brakes suppliers.
According to the eJournal story, the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority preliminarily approved tax incentives for the company of up to $2 million through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
