Wesco International Plans Abilene, Texas, Operations

The company will lease 240,000 square feet of space at the Five Points Business Park which will include final assembly, distribution, light manufacturing, and testing of electrical components for hyperscale data center customers.
“We are grateful to the DCOA for their partnership and support as we expand our footprint to provide mission-critical on-site services to our data center customers in Abilene and the West Texas region,” Hemant Porwal, Executive Vice President of Wesco’s Supply Chain and Operations said.
Wesco International offers distribution and logistics services for electrical, communications, and utility products. The company serves a wide range of customers including commercial and industrial businesses, contractors, government agencies, and utilities.
